Anesthesiology Grand Rounds


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of risks of postoperative cognitive dysfunction in the elderly and formulate a plan for the perioperative care of patients at risk of post-operative dysfunction
  2. Formulate a plan to be implemented by the team for the perioperative management of direct oral anticoagulation
  3. Identify and name concrete strategies for mentorship and coaching in anesthesiology and medicine
  4. Identify strategies to avoid reoccurrence of specific adverse events
  5. Identify how system resources can be changed to mitigate risk of adverse events
