Now in its 33rd year, this annual symposium assists physicians and advanced practitioners in caring for patients with both common and complex cardiovascular problems, emphasizing practical incorporation of the latest advances into clinical practice. Sessions will feature state-of-the-art lectures, expert panel discussions, and illustrative case presentations addressing topics such as heart failure, coronary and valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, prevention, and cardio-oncology.

CME and AANP credits are pending final agenda and approval.

1. Discuss current strategies for management of cardio-renal syndrome in patients with heart failure and renal insufficiency.
2. Review evidence-based approaches to the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic coronary artery disease syndromes.
3. Identify advances in trans-catheter valve replacement, repair, and image-guided structural heart interventions.
4. Evaluate and implement current guideline-directed therapies and emerging treatments for congestive heart failure.
5. Evaluate current treatment approaches and guideline updates for pulmonary embolism.
6. Identify and manage cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac amyloidosis, and cardiac sarcoidosis.
7. Discuss the cardiovascular impact and clinical use of GLP-1 agonists and other emerging weight-loss therapies.
8. Apply updated treatment recommendations and novel therapies for hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
9. Discuss current and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in cardiovascular medicine and patient care.
