Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Chorioamnionitis: Grading evaluates how much inflammation there is, staging evaluates where the inflammation is
  2. Histologic evaluation for TORCH: HSV, CMV, Toxoplasmosis, Parvovirus B19 all available in our lab
  3. Maternal malperfusion findings indicate blood flow abnormalities of the parent and include but are not limited to chronic or gestational hypertension, preeclampsia spectrum disease, fetal growth restriction, while fetal vascular malperfusion findings indicate blood flow abnormalities of the fetus and include but are not limited to cord compromise, fetal hypercoagulability, complications of fetal cardiac dysfunction
