Our Mission

The mission of the Lahey Hosptial & Medical Center Continuing Education Program emphasizes continuous medical education, critical thinking and the use of evidence/scientifically based practices that positively impact the care of patients and promote expertise and professionalism of our clinicians. Its focus spans learners of Divisions and subspecialty practices of Medicine, Surgery, Behavioral Health and Wellness. It prioritizes patient safety, equitable access with compassion to the diversity of our patients and providers. It is kept free of commercial influence. The CME Committee will encourage and advise, approve and accredit, quality educational activities that support outcome measurements, drive research initiatives and practice innovation.
